You need to note there will be some shrinkage when washing the first few times.
The general rule with Vrindavan clothing is to order one size bigger than you think you need.
Men's Kurtas are intended to be loose fitting, so the size you need will be bigger than for tighter fitting clothing.

Q: Hare Krishna prabhuji. In size chart it's mentioned small is 42 inch chest and in q & a you mentioned 38" chest. Same size chart is for all kurtas in product description mentioning small is 42"chest. Kindly clarify.
A: Size chart is correct but remember that kurtas are supposed to be loose fitting and the Vrindavan cloth does shrink a bit on first couple of washes.
